NORMAN RIJO

Norman Rijo is the Co- Founder and a Managing Principal at Carnegie Builders Group LLC, with over 25 years of construction expertise, which includes extensive experience in estimating, pre-construction and value engineering evaluation and quality control/safety criteria management.

A Record of Excellence

Norman’s portfolio includes multimillion dollar high end residential buildings in Miami and New York, colleges and universities, community and religious organizations like the YMCA and the General Theological Seminary, as well as retail stores, private companies and not-for-profits like the Natural Resources defense Council. He has acted as Project Manager, Director of Operations, Executive Vice President, and President on projects such as the offices for the Department of Homeland Security, Bear Stearns, 9 West 57th Street, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art Asian Exhibit Room, Tavern on The Green, Central Park New York. Norman was Director of Operations for a major developer in Bay Harbor Islands from pre-construction through closeout on the Tryp Hotel, The Ivory Condominium, and the Kai. All three projects were run simultaneously with a total job cost in excess of $68 million. Managing vendors with an eye toward quality control , Norman was able to bring all three projects to a successful completion.

CHARLES VENTIMIGLIA

Charles Ventimiglia is the Co-Founder and a Managing Principal at Carnegie Builders Group LLC, with over 30 years of construction and development experience, which includes extensive experience in heavy construction, ground-up high rise construction, and civil construction and development.

Charles has a bachelor of architecture degree from the Pratt Institute School of Architecture in Brooklyn, NY and a Civil Engineering degree. Charles is certified in Construction, Demolition, and Concrete by the City of New York and holds a certificate for residential construction, a special rigger's certificate, and has clearance from the Secure Workers Access Consortium to work on high level secure projects such as airports, the World Trade Center, and tunnels in and around New York. Charles has overseen construction and development of well over $1 billion worth of projects in his career and has worked for such clients as the Internal Revenue Service, the Office of the Mayor of New York City, Long Island Rail Road, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, FedEx, Nassau University Medical Center, Elmhurst Hospital Center, and many more.

Charles and his varied background and vast experience in all phases of development and construction are what help set Carnegie Builders Group LLC apart from the competition. His commitment to quality and his leadership help all projects in which he is a part.
